From Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On”, Bob Dylan’s “Blowin In The Wind”, and John Lennon’s “Imagine”, songs of protest and peace have been an essential part of historical struggles for peace and justice.
These songs help people realize they’re not alone in feeling a spirit of dissent against certain injustices. With that in mind, we invite you to join us each Thursday as we gather to sing a collection of great songs of protest and peace from the Civil War to modern times.
No experience necessary, If you can carry a tune, you can sing with us!
For adults ages 18 & up
