Studio X Winter Filmmaker class is a great opportunity for kids interested in film and music making, creative writing, photography, and design to produce their own short films.
From video and audio production to editing, scoring, and screenplay creation, we will do it all in this multi-disciplined experience. This is a great opportunity for aspiring filmmakers, writers, musicians, and actors.
You do not need to have any film experience to take this class. All you need is a creative mind and an excitement to learn and have fun!

'Ol Factory Brass Band: Summer 2024!
Attention horn players and drummers!
The 'Ol Factory brass band is back!. Here’s a great opportunity for horn players and drummers to play with their friends in an experimental and lively environment. This New Orleans-style brass band will meet weekly, learning old-school jams and recognizable modern tunes.
Our Summer Band will meet weekly in preparation for a fall performance in the community!
Students should have a basic proficiency in their instrument.
Ages 11 and Up
Recording and Songwriting Summer Camp
In this collaborative class we will create new original beats, soundscapes, melodies, and chord progressions, allowing students to share their works and to build upon each others pieces.

Come swing with the ‘Ol Factory jazz Combo!
We’re not talking about background cocktail music, but the real deal, bombastic, hard-hitting, swinging music born right here in the USA!
This group is a great opportunity for instrumental and voice students to build their experience with jazz repertoire while learning to improvise and play in a fun group setting.
Students should have at least a year of experience playing their instrument.
The ‘Ol Factory Jazz Combo will rehearse weekly in preparation for a community spring performance.

The Band Lab Rock Ensemble is a great way to learn to play with other kids for the first time. Plug in, tune-up, and get ready to jam with your friends learning classic rock tunes.
This is a great opportunity for kids who are just beginning to play in a group setting to get comfortable keeping time, playing rhythm, and learning to improvise.

FINDING YOUR VOICE: Essential Elements of Singing
Learning to sing is a practice of self discovery.
More than anything, singing can help you learn more about yourself, how you breathe, how you stand, the sounds you use to express yourself. In this class, you will learn new ways to express yourself, new approaches to breathing, posture, and resonance.
At the end of this 8 week class, you will have a solid understanding of fundamental vocal techniques, learn how to find and develop your true authentic voice, and a develop a deeper understanding of how singing can help you learn more about yourself.

Participants should have a good foundation on their instrument, be open to playing and learning by ear, and be able to play while walking.

Na-Na-Na-No! is an exciting indie band at Community Music Space. The group mixes up pop music, classic rock, and even some originals to create a sound all their own.
This group provides an exciting and engaging opportunity for young musicians looking to start a band. The group will meet weekly covering their favorite songs and learning to develop their own style and original music.

The Saturday Studio Band provides an exciting and engaging opportunity for young musicians looking to start a band. The group will meet weekly covering their favorite songs and learning to develop their own style and original music.
Playing together is one of the most important aspects of becoming a musician. It helps young musicians grown in improvisation, writing, ear training and more.
We provide the amps, drums, mics, and the studio. All you have to do is show up, turn on, and start making music!

Vocal Intensive for Teens
The Vocal Intensive is an exciting new program for kids ages 12 & up who love to sing and want to take their skills to the next level. Students meet for private lessons each week and a monthly group class.
