What is the Friday After School Special?
The after school special is where teens go to blow off steam, make music, shoot films, and get creative in a fun, open, and engaging studio space!
This Fall we will develop, write, and record a parody of an After School Special that will be recorded and filmed using our phones, laptops, and recording devices. We will parody shows such as High School Musical, Riverdale, and of course the classic ABC After School Specials. We will create our own original multi media production which will incorporate, writing, music, acting, and film components. Most important, we will have a blast being creative together!
This is a great class for performers, singers, film enthusiasts, and developing writers.
In person classes will be held outdoors or socially distanced at Community Music Space, with a live streamed Zoom option for those not comfortable with being indoors.
This class will meet in person and online on Fridays from 3:00-4:15pm.
